TexArc - Southern Africa's
most technologically advanced design and manufacturing facility for the conversion
of high tech textiles into finished products. We offer the design, fabrication,
supply, and installation of Architectural Tensile Fabric structures, cable structures,
solar screens and large umbrellas.
Since inception in 2004, TexArc (Texwise Architectural Structures) has built an impressive track record, illustrating to architects, specifiers, technical professionals, constructors and fabricators, the incredible potential of these new products - each adapted for specific use.
We consult with professionals on best methodology, design and limitations of products. Our forte is dynamic interaction as required, to find solutions that work to meet the objectives. Fast response time, engineering solutions and design is what our team specializes in.
TeaxArc advises clients on how the structure will look and perform within a wider architectural context. For clients who require more input, we prefer to be involved in projects from their conception, and to guide our clients on which fabric and design works best for the application at hand.
Our clients include architects, interior designers, office equipment specifiers, large contracting companies, specifiers, designers, fabricators, developers, technical people as well as the end users.
An important secondary function of our company is the maintenance and cleaning division for existing structures to hold warranties and ensure products remain safe, visible and attractive.
Management, and shareholders are hands-on, German-and Asian-trained engineers, artisans and technicians, all experts in their fields:

Alex comes from a family of textile entrepreneurs. This legacy, together with Alex's expertise as a mechanical engineer and many years of owning and running a sailmaking business, brings a wealth of experience and ingenuity to TexArc.

Keith is the financial and administration partner and ensures the smooth running of the company. His quiet competence, passion for numbers, accuracy and sailing make him the ideal partner in such a diverse business environment.

With a lifetime in marketing and innovation, Dave also has a technical background. His lateral thinking helps view solutions from different angles. A flair for creative and architectural ideas comes in useful when discussing options with designers and specifiers.
TexArc grew naturally out of Texwise, a 25 yrs established privately owned closed corporation specializing in large textile fabrics, sail making and supply of high grade marine equipment and fittings. The two companies are linked by common shareholders.
From a startup in 2004, TexArc has grown exponentially to being one of the leaders in its field today.
